Nanea the Mystery Doll: How They Connect
Image 1 In my last post I briefly went in to the video I watched where they talked about how Nanea's face-mold looks a lot like the Wellie Wishers'. I started wondering if one of the Wellie Wishers is a descendant of Nanea. I decided that it would be Ashlyn. (images 1 and 2) Look at the similarities! If they are related will American Girl tell us some how? I also found that Nanea's hairstyle is also very similar to Caroline (image 3) and Maryellen's (image 4). One of the coolest things I discovered is that Nanea shows one perspective of World War II; while Molly shows the other. It's very interesting. I am almost thinking that American Girl has known that there will be a Hawaiian 1940s doll for a long time. I think this because Molly's Halloween costume is a Hawaiian Girl. She could've picked anything else! The last (and probably best) thing I discovered is that Nanea shows what all of the American Girl characters have in common. Kokua. Image 2
