The American Girl Theory

      Firstly, sorry for not posting very much this month. Also, thank you all so much for visiting this blog so much this month! I truly was not expecting it. Anyways here is why I chose not to go to Blaire's little pre-release thing tomorrow.        I wasn't able to find information about the event on American Girl's site, so here's what I remember about the pre-release. You get Blaire. It's really expensive. Now, based off of this information, here are the reasons I chose not to go.  What if Blaire is bad quality? And even if not all of her is bad quality, what if they just hand you the doll and that's the one you get? It's expensive. It sounds more fun to just get her January 1st. I don't know with this one really, I just like seeing other people who are excited to get Blaire. Sure, probably everyone else in the American Girl "community", for say, will get Blaire tomorrow but that doesn't mean I have to.  Those are th...

I used the averages from some American Girl items to make guesses on the price of each item from her collection. (I ended up not doing that.) Also, it's the 16th when I'm making this post. So in other words, the AG site is being weird. Here's an image to help you understand:  ANYWAYS! HERE'S THE ACTUAL IMPORTANT PART OF THE POST!  Doll: $115. First of all, sorry for not posting this earlier. I was going to post it yesterday, but I accidentally scheduled it for 10:30 PM instead of 10:30 AM. It had been around 5 PM when I noticed  this, so I decided it was a bit late. Sorry!     These are the 2 main photos I will be using for this post:  I will be calling the first image B1 and the second image B2. Now here's what I've come to the conclusion of. First of all, in B2 we can see that the dress looks rather formal. GOTY formal dresses are normally released in the second half of the year. This means that that image could be more recent. Meanwhile, in B1 we can see that her eyes are most definitely pointing downward. I'm guessing that when B2 was taken, AG was slowly starting to raise quality; without us knowing. I don't know how long it takes for an American Girl doll to be made, but I have a solid guess on Blaire's quality. Here's a timeline on my Blaire quality theory: January-April 2019: Good...

Since the leaks are kind of fuzzy, it is hard to tell what Blaire's eye color is. The question is if her eye color is green or hazel. So.................I fuzzed up some AG hazel eyes and some AG green eyes. So here are those: Hazel:  Green:  Now, here is Blaire's eye color: Blaire:   I would definitely say that's green.        Sorry for the long title. Anyways, here are some pictures theories I made that kind of match Blaire's collection. I'll also put the picture it matches above it.  This one is matching the doll. It very roughly matches it, I know. First here are some things on both opinions sides: Side 1: Wishes Blaire was a DOC Is glad that Blaire doesn't have the classic mold. Doesn't necessarily understand why people think Blaire is so cute. Pays attention to Blaire's storyline, and isn't a huge fan of it. Well, so far.  Side 2: Loves Blaire with all of their heart and soul. Doesn't really understand why Blaire should be a DOC. Kind of doesn't care about Blaire's storyline. So, basically Blaire's storyline is that she plans weddings and it gets difficult. So, I actually have a fair amount of opinions on this. To start, it is now confirmed that she'll have a barn, well at least in her books. Now here are the bad aspects of her storyline: Compared to Luciana's story, this seems quite bland. She's not a DOC. She's probably like 11, which is a bit young to be planning weddings. Now, here are the good things. Sounds similar to Grace's storyline, and she was really popular. She may have the Marie-Grace facemold. They can still fit mental health in it. After all, it's a better character if their entire storyline doesn't center around one thing. Her collection looks super cute. Okay, now I'm just fooling myself into getting her. Those are my opinions. So, I was on my phone checking my emails and then realized that Poppets and Posies had a new post. It was Blaire's book cover. Let's just say that I kind of screamed of excitement in my head. I'm going to post again probably today on my opinions on her story.     Yes, I know I left the Blaire short stories on a bit of cliffhanger, but I can't think of what to write next for the story. Plus, I feel like I'd probably end up making it a mystery because I'm writing a mystery story right now. I'm on my 11th chapter. Now, here's the actual post.      I wanted to address this because I've heard a lot about it and there are some things we need to remember. First thing that we need to remember, is that this is a rumor. We don't actually know if American Girl's quality will be all back to normal on January 1st. After all, that would take a lot of work to fix. This rumor was first addressed in late November, I believe and if it's true it would still take so much time to make all of those dolls. Remember, they need ones for shipping, and all of the AG stores. Even if they had figured this out earlier, it still just seems unlikely for it to be true.      I've decided to just do these in order, so this is a continuation of the my last post.          Lately, I had been told to not go outside when it was raining, for no particular reason. My family wouldn't listen to what I would say, because they didn't want to. They believed that it would make everything worse. So, I sat there, in the barn for another half hour. They hadn't wanted me by my sister lately and I didn't know why. My sister didn't have any mental health issues and me being kept away from her was just making my anxiety worse. So, couldn't they just let me in a little? My parents keep me so close, yet they keep me so far away. They won't let me go into the forest behind our house to explore and study all of the plant in the thickets. Yet, they keep me away from them and my sister so much.     First off, these aren't in any particular order, just little short stories about Blaire and what I think could happen in one of her stories. Also, sorry I'm writing this so late, I was going to write this yesterday, but I forgot to. In other words, I'm writing this at school. I hope you enjoy the story! I wasn't wet thanks to the awning over our front porch. I went to the coat closet in my family's entry way and pulled out my lavender rain jacket and my floral umbrella. I threw on my rain jacket and opened the umbrella once I got onto the front porch. I then headed out in the pouring rain to the barn. My morning chore was to feed the animals and look for chicken eggs, which only took about forty-five minutes.
