The American Girl Theory

Some people think Samantha is archiving, some say Addy is archiving; and some think both of them are archiving. Now I decided to post this because it does have to do with Nanea. Well, you see, American Girl I think made a mistake. What's the mistake; you may ask. It's that they never archived a doll when they released Melody. Therefore, in stores (not flagship) (at least mine) Addy doesn't have as big a display as all the the other characters. So, in order to stop having dolls in little displays (besides Felicity) they need to archive 2 dolls. Correct? Yes. But, they could also do this : Archive Kit or Julie. Why not Samantha??? Well, because it would be weird for her to be archived for a 2nd time so soon. Kit and Julie have been around for a while, so it would make more sense. They could also have Samantha only be in flagship locations with Felicity. This would be the most logical because they are both characters that came out of the archives. Classic Mold Chin Classic Mold Lips Nanea's Lips Nanea's Eyes The Nanea mold is one like no other. It so far has only been used on the WellieWishers and soon to be Nanea. Most American Girl dolls have a rather flat chin, while Nanea's chin is pointier;  which makes her look more realistic. She is also American Girl's first doll to come with painted on eyelashes. I think the eyelashes are just gorgeous. Nanea also has slightly more plumped lips than the classic mold. I did some research and I discovered that Nanea is the first doll ever, even before just like you  to come in shorts!!! I'm not counting Create Your Own in this though. Yes I know it's a weird time to be posting, but seriously GOTY 2018. Will it happen? I basically asked American Girl that question in I think Februrary. They said yes. But, I wonder if GOTY will eventually end? Tell me in my new poll.

Most people didn't realize Caroline and Felicity's Beforever changes, but I did. In my 2nd post I talked about Felicity's eyes changing. Here's why: http://www.americangirl.com/shop/ag/dolls/beforever/felicity/felicity-doll-paperback-book-dyl15  They also changed her eyebrows and gave her more curls. Caroline's eye color didn't change, but her eyebrow color did. It turned darker when she was released as a Beforever character. Kanani In "Nanea the Mystery Doll: How they Connect" , I talked a bit about American Girl maybe knowing all along about a Hawaiian doll (in the future) being released. I thought it was because of Molly's hula Halloween costume. I now realize that they would have to have had this plan somewhere in between 1986-2014. I'm guessing 2011, the year Kanani was released. But now back to Molly, why was she archived, was she selling poorly; that's a likely possibility. Like I said, she also could have been archived because American Girl knew that they were going to come out with another 1940s doll. What do you think?  Some people wonder,  some people don't. I'm kind of stuck in the middle of the to. In my opinion they were archived because American Girl didn't want any more friend dolls. But that could be just a rumor. Plus, now there are Tenney  and Logan. Maybe they could bring Marie-Grace and Cecile back now?       These are just some ideas. It could also be that Cecile was selling poorly while Marie-Grace was selling wonderfully. (the mold is perfect for O.O.A.K.s) After all, the stories wouldn't make as much sense if you didn't have the other characters stories.       Today I kind of just poured my thoughts into this...      Cecile I basically was saying that either American Girl didn't want friend dolls any more or that one of the two dolls was selling well while the other was selling poorly.
