Look, I don't know how this will go, but I want to try it out. I will post ch. 2 next week. Also, I don't have any other chapters filled out. I wrote this like a year and a half ago. The response I got for: "How can American Girl change?" is one that I honestly don't have a huge opinion on, but I still wanted to post on. Here's the response: American Girl needs to bring back all of the Historical Characters. Firstly, I agree. Now would be a perfect moment, since Beforever is going back to the historical line. As we all probably know by now, American Girl hasn't been doing so well. If they were to bring these all back in a month or two, that would be great. Like let's say they re-released a doll (or two for Marie-Grace and Cecile) that would be really good. They could re-open some stores. American Girl could start doing better. That's really all I have to say about that.     So, 2 posts back I put up a Google Form in which you could answer the question: How can American Girl Change? I'll put the form at the end of this post if you want to answer, please note that I will comment on them on here. Anyways, I got a response that I have decided to comment on today. I will put numbers in some spots to section it out a bit. Soooooo here the answer is! 1) Bring back the historical lines. Rid of the bright colors and go back to the original colors. 2) No one in Kit’s day wore the bright cheesy colors now being sold. Our older Kit doll has outfits that look and feel authentic. 3) She had a friend we could buy too. 4) The historical doll line with the quality authentic-seeming clothes are unique to AG. Going to be honest, this is also a thing for me to go back to so I can remember names of outfits. Allllssssoooo, yesterday I brought Luci and Blaire to my closest AG store to get their eyes replaced.         Look, I never wanted to make this post. I wasn't planning on making a post addressing this until yesterday. Anyways, flashback to yesterday, my friend informed me that the AG store closest to where I live is closing. Now, before I talk about the future of this blog, I want to talk about American Girl. I know that people, including myself, are upset about the closing of the Boston and MOA AG stores. But here is why I think this could be a good thing for American Girl. Firstly, in my opinion every American Girl store except for the AG Places should close. I just feel like this would be best for American Girl since it could help them save some money. Another thing is that I feel like American Girl just kind of needs to restart. I've said it before and I'll say it again, American Girl just isn't marketing to the right audience. Even if younger kids are going to American Girl more, it would help if AG would market better. For example, people 12 and up would spend ...

Sorry this is being posted so late, I thought I had posted my last post on a Thursday. Anyways, here's an image of the new trademark. Personally, I don't think she'll become a doll, Wellie-Wisher or regular doll. This is because her name is so similar to Gwen. Gwen was the friend character of GOTY 2009 character Chrissa Maxwell. I feel like this trademark will be like Barbara, no updates. Estelle seems to be turning into a Barbara kind of trademark, too. If I use the phrase "Barbara" again, it is basically just me referring to an AG trademark that hasn't been updated in a long time or a trademark that was never updated. (Also looking at the meaning I feel like someone will start throwing hands.) I feel like she might be AG's 1920s girl, if she's ever actually released. So, I got Blaire. I also am SUPER PUMPED  about the American Girl eye replacement thing. I think I'll get Luciana's eyes fixed in February or March and Blaire's in March or April. We got 44,382 pageviews! Another thanks for an incredible year! This year I plan on making this blog a lot better with more in depth theories. I do have a few plans, so don't worry.       Firstly, sorry for not posting very much this month. Also, thank you all so much for visiting this blog so much this month! I truly was not expecting it. Anyways here is why I chose not to go to Blaire's little pre-release thing tomorrow.        I wasn't able to find information about the event on American Girl's site, so here's what I remember about the pre-release. You get Blaire. It's really expensive. Now, based off of this information, here are the reasons I chose not to go.  What if Blaire is bad quality? And even if not all of her is bad quality, what if they just hand you the doll and that's the one you get? It's expensive. It sounds more fun to just get her January 1st. I don't know with this one really, I just like seeing other people who are excited to get Blaire. Sure, probably everyone else in the American Girl "community", for say, will get Blaire tomorrow but that doesn't mean I have to.  Those are th...

I used the averages from some American Girl items to make guesses on the price of each item from her collection. (I ended up not doing that.) Also, it's the 16th when I'm making this post. So in other words, the AG site is being weird. Here's an image to help you understand:  ANYWAYS! HERE'S THE ACTUAL IMPORTANT PART OF THE POST!  Doll: $115. First of all, sorry for not posting this earlier. I was going to post it yesterday, but I accidentally scheduled it for 10:30 PM instead of 10:30 AM. It had been around 5 PM when I noticed  this, so I decided it was a bit late. Sorry!     These are the 2 main photos I will be using for this post:  I will be calling the first image B1 and the second image B2. Now here's what I've come to the conclusion of. First of all, in B2 we can see that the dress looks rather formal. GOTY formal dresses are normally released in the second half of the year. This means that that image could be more recent. Meanwhile, in B1 we can see that her eyes are most definitely pointing downward. I'm guessing that when B2 was taken, AG was slowly starting to raise quality; without us knowing. I don't know how long it takes for an American Girl doll to be made, but I have a solid guess on Blaire's quality. Here's a timeline on my Blaire quality theory: January-April 2019: Good...

Since the leaks are kind of fuzzy, it is hard to tell what Blaire's eye color is. The question is if her eye color is green or hazel. So.................I fuzzed up some AG hazel eyes and some AG green eyes. So here are those: Hazel:  Green:  Now, here is Blaire's eye color: Blaire:   I would definitely say that's green.
